In the Meadow
This has been my most popular show! It is especially good for very young children,
since there are 3 - 4 short stories and/or songs, and it holds their attention
quite well. It is also very funny, and older children, as well as many child-like
adults enjoy this show. Stories include:
- THE HUNGRY CATERPILLAR, who eats a huge meal, and turns into a butterfly.
- The SHORT TREE AND THE BIRD WHO COULD NOT SING: This is a new addition to the Meadow
show, and children love the corny bird and the tree that talks!
- THE LAMB AND THE BUTTERFLY, about friendship and caring for others.
- THE FOOLISH TURTLE, who dreams of being a race horse, and decides to take off
his shell so he can run.
- Other selections can include a bluesy story of THE
THREE LITTLE PIGS;
IN THE GREAT MEADOW, about two unlikely friends, a frog and a snake,
and the song/story of THE FIVE LITTLE DUCKS. These selections are based on
the age and interest of the children.
- I also have many stories with Bears and other animals which fit
into this show. If you, or your child, has a favorite animal, let me know, and
I may have a story for your special event!
- Workshop Puppet: Many choices of puppet designs are available.

The Garden of Whales
Stories of Sea Animals
- Roxanne dreams of a plan to rescue the disappearing whales.
- RAINBOW FISH is a popular children's story about a fish who learns that sharing something
she values (her shiny scales) can bring her many friends.
- A seagull, a crab, fish, a shark, an octopus and whales are in this show, as well as
voices of seagulls and Humpback Whales.
- An additional story, based on the Grimm's Tale, THE
FISHERMAN, is a music-driven
non-verbal story about consequences of being a bit too greedy.
- Workshop puppet: Hand puppets of a rainbow fish and an octopus.

|
The Royal Family
Stories include:
- KING BOUNCE, who relieves the tension of his day by bouncing on his bed, until
he learns it is "unkingly" and must stop.
- The PAPER BAG PRINCESS is a "reverse role" story about a princess who rescues her friend,
the prince, from a dragon.
- Workshop Puppet: A hand puppet design that can be decorated as a Princess or Prince.

Mouse Tales
Carla Rae mixes up more than a cake when she wakes up one morning
with a Celebration on her mind. This show is adapted from a larger original
show, and includes adventures with all sizes of Micely Creatures, a Dreaded
Lion, and other fun characters. This show requires a full stage.
This show can be a good Winter Holiday show, with references to and symbols from Jewish Hannakkah (dreidels, blue & white decorations, latkes), Kwanza tradition (corn, fruits, principles) and an appearance of (puppet) Santa at the end.
