Gail McKay
Gail McKay is a puppeteer/performer who brings stories to life with her puppet shows and puppet making workshops. As a teaching artist, Gail integrates puppetry, storytelling, music, and creative movement into lessons to teach reading comprehension and writing skills, as well as other curricular subjects. She has a Master's Degree in Education, is a Certified Teacher of the Deaf, and has been performing and teaching for over 20 years. Her staff development workshops, The Art of Signing and Using Puppets to Teach Curriculum, are approved by the North Carolina Division of Child Development for Teaching Certification Credit.
